Nice work, as usual, Breck. Thanks to everyone who set me straight on this connector. I figured it was too good to be true to have found a source of these. At the moment, the power wires are simply soldered onto the pins on the connector. I always like to look out for more elegant solutions. Yours, Breck, is the best I've seen!

The ARC-2 and ARR-15 connector are indeed hard to find.
Usually on a project if I want to proceed with the radio I fabricate a connector. One thing is for sure - - as soon as you fabricate the connector the "real" connector will show up. :-) k4che http://k4che.com/Connectors/ARR-15connpg1.htm

Hi all, I have an ARC-2. I know that I shouldn't hold out any hope to find the mounting base with the electrical connector. I saw something on ebay (for an arc-27) connector and was wondering if anyone knows if this might fit. Sounds like a longshot, for sure... but it kinda looks possible. It can be seen on this ebay item...
