Hue you have entirely too much VLF gerate. (slightly green with 
envy...)  Anyway, your advice is sound.  I have RAK, RAL, and AR-8510 
receivers which work VERY well, having received SAQ on 17.2 Kc. with 
satisfaction on all three.  They are indeed simple to resurrect, etc.
