[Milsurplus] Locating an FSN

Is there a repository where old FSN's go to rest in peace ?  If there is, I'dlike to know.  I have several items with Disposal tags but the numbers don;tcome up using the internet search engines.  I also went over to WebFLIS andthey don't come up with any of them.
For example:  I have a spool of military coax (supposing it is military).  The disposal notice on this unused spool of RG8 size cable is dated 2 JAN 01.  It shows:
Old Stock Number 5995ND050011P
New Stock Number 6145ND050011P
