[Milsurplus] Unknown Collins Audio box

I remember those! I haven't seen one in ages.

The phone company used to use those on private (dedicated) 4 wire circuits. It
contains two audio amps and a 2 to 4 wire converter hybrid which can be adjusted
for best match.

The local phone system needs a 2 wire setup but dedicated lines, which may
possibly have radio links in them, need a separate circuit for send and receive.

IIRC, those little amps made fairly decent headphone amps back in the day. Of
course now a single chip has better fidelity, uses much less power, and is more
reliable.
