Went to Aberdeen yesterday, don't think Thursday may be as good a day to go as everyone says it is. Mostly vendors there trading and selling amongst themselves. It's just speculation on my part but think today would have been better. In terms of radios saw lots of PRC-25 and 77 sets in the $250 and above price range and many VRC-12 radios and components in the $200 price range. Couple RT-68/67 type of things along with a complete RT-70 being just what you need for your tank. There was a GRR-5 for $200 and almost endless supply of microphones, headphones and handsets for sixties to seventies style radios and phones. Lots of TA-43, TA-312 phones and wire with reels of telephone wire selling in the $40 price range. Not as many newer telephones or military test sets as have been seen in the past and not as much of the old WW-2 stuff although saw at least one or two RBM receivers and for some reason there is always at least one ARC-1 radio for sale there. The usual couple dealers of high end military radios were there selling there PRC-77, PRC-74 and the like all in the three hundred dollar and above range along with lots of VRC-90 and the like accessories but not one radio. One of the things that I was looking for was a new battery PRC-119 (BA5590) but no one had one for sale so there was no 51.0 opps on my part. Did set up my PRC-108 and checked into the Moose & Squirrel net on 5.357and that worked out well. Overall not a bad sale and still think it's worth the trip although it appears more and more that the most prevalent item that's for sale there is clothing, then vehicle parts and after all that everything else.
