*Good news !! The first objective has been achieved. The radio
collection owned by Musée québécois de la radio has been saved but only
for three months. A temporary storage location has been found until
August 16, 2014. We now have an additional three months to find a
permanent solution for the collection.*
****
*As you know, the collection is impressive. It contains over 1900 pieces
of radio equipment and over three quarters of a million pages of
documentation. It is part of our history. We cannot stand by and let
this collection end up in the garbage. I have added some photos of the
radio collection on my historical site "radiocommunications.ca". Here is
the link:*

*Thank you to all those of you who have contacted Jacques and who are
presently working on permanent solutions. If anyone can help, please
contact *

*Jacques will also need help between May 16 and May 30 to move the radio
collection to a storage area at the "Promenades de Sorel" shopping
centre. Please let Jacques know if you can help.*
**
*Please do not contact me on this matter. I am only the relay station
(QSP). Jacques is the right person to contact.*
