Do any of you highly esteemed gentlefolk have any experience with the
subject line subject? Ive been looking at some of their cold war surplus
for use in a few projects here, concentrating on the pillar-type submini
pentodes. I find them utterly fascinating along with a few other subminis
with ratings that blur the line between submini and mini.
One of the projects is a walkermobile/park bench portable crystal control CW
rig for 40-10m (harmonically related bands only) good for around 10w out and
possibly convertible to DSB later on. From what I can see, such a wee
beastie should be easy on batteries except for the PA and even there the
average power will be fairly easily manageable.
Anyway, if anyone here has any sage advice or advice of any other
seasoning it would be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards,

Sometimes I pretend to be normal but it gets boring so I go back to being
me.
