[Milsurplus] OT: "Surplus Stupidity" Is Alive and Well.

It was my understanding it was the M151 series vehicles that had the roll-over problems and the bid sheets from DRMO indicated that all surplus M151s bodies were cut inhalf.

With that said, I don't know if the rollover problem was for all M151s, or the earlier versions. Maybe by the time the M151A2 hit the road, some of the rollover problems were solved - well between a better rear end and driver education.

We had a M151A1 assigned to my office when I was in Vietnam and I never noticed any particular problems. Maybe driving it all the time in the Saigon area, with the traffic enforced speed limits cured any possibility of going fast enough?

Y
This prompted laws that required DRMO to cut all jeep frames in half
to keep them off of the road.
A rewelded frame cannot legally be titled.
You can buy a hummer from your local dealer today.
