As much as I would not mind having a TCM and would consider paying about half that much for one the rest of the pile just is not attractive enough to consider a thousand mile road trip. Maybe someone will buy all that junk and put it on EBay?
Have no good reason for it but for the last several years have been looking for something big in the way of a Navy transmitter, something big and pointless like a TDE, TCM or the like. Already have a RCA MX 1kW AM transmitter on 160 but want something that's huge to pair with my 1938 HRO RAS.

Subject: [Milsurplus] Pile o' Military Gear in Biloxi MS

I got a call tonight from a woman in Biloxi MS who bought a storage locker full of old radio gear.
She wants someone to buy the whole pile and take it away ASAP.
She sent some photos to my phone -
http://www.virhistory.com/ham/storage.htm
I see some Signal Corps gear, an SP-600, an RDZ, and two TCMs, - she also says there are lots more radios, plus tubes & parts.
There is at least one piece of AN/FRR-24 receiver (CV-127/FRR-24) - I would like to get that from whomever gets this pile.

She doesn't do e-mail but call Pat Dixon
228-257-0268
Maybe call tomorrow AM - she's on Central Time.
She said she'd take $800 for the whole pile - needs to be gone soon and bring a truck or it goes to a local auction or scrap.

Let us know what happens!

Cheers,
Nick England K4NYW
