I forgot to mention that the last 10 pages or so of the book show aircraft
weaponry with comments on employment and effectiveness.

I also noticed a few photos pointing out VHF radar antennas. I might
comment on these later, try to describe them and guesstimate dimensions.
Also interesting is that one late war plane, KI-46 "Dinah", in at least some
examples, had the "football" shaped, faired DF loop capsule mounted dorsal.
This is the only Japanese plane I have seen pictured, with this type DF 
loop.
