Ben,

The RU-19 is a stand-alone receiver, no interface with the GF-** transmitter
in system wiring diagram, and no antenna relay in the system components list
as in the case of the other RU-**/GF-** systems. The RU-19 technical manual
also lists this model as a "stand alone". The main use of the RU-19 is with
the GO-9 transmitter, as in the PBY Catalina amphibious long-range US Navy
patrol aircraft. Since there is no antenna relay in the RU-19 system, there
must have been a separate transmit and receive antenna in the RU-19/GO-9
station.
Here are links to the radio compartment photos: The large transmitter on the
left is the GO-9.

I have all the necessary control/junction boxes/dynamotor and LM-**
frequency meter to make up such a system, just the second RU-19 is still
missing.

Partner wanted, must have connections.

After a bit of moving stuff around I re-found 2 transmitters that are
desperate to find partners.

My GF-11 needs an RU-19 receiver, or maybe an RU-17?

My BC-AR-230 needs a BC-229 I believe.

Can anyone help a lonely old pair find that right connection?

cheers, Ben G4BXD.
