Funny how you can have sleeves of tubes and never think you're going to use them and then all of a sudden find you don't have as many as you think. Anyway if anyone has a sleeve or two of them would be willing to trade other tubes. Have couple spare sleeves of NOS military 6BA6 tubes and know that the Collins collectors have driven there price way up and will trade one for one for them. Also have lots of sleeves of 6X4 and 6AQ5 but they are as common as dirt. Think each sleeve contains five boxes of tubes. Don't know about everyone else but tend to think we all horde too many tubes, I did get rid of all the television compactrons and weird voltage tubes and just try to keep the tubes for things I am working on or own but they

Hi Ray,
I looked in my database and it says I have 3 of the 5654 tubes and 19 of
the 6AK5. I do not need that many to build out my two projects AND have
spares. I consider all of my tubes to be used pulls even though I know
some of them are new. I have no way to know which is which any more.
These days I'm more interested in acquiring some subminiature tubes that
run on batteries. Those are also known as hearing aid tubes and some
were made for proximity fuses used in anti-aircraft shells. You can have
some of mine if you don't get some guaranteed new-old stock tubes in
sleeves.
A lot if the tubes I have came to me in boxes full of "stuff" that I
bought for something else that was in the box. Some I removed from old,
damaged equipment. Everything in the storage trays passed over the tube
tester first.
