[Milsurplus] 50's Navy gear in Puget Sound area for museum ship or ?

I got email from a fellow in the Puget Sound area who says "I am cleaning
out a house with lots of Navy 1950's electronic equipment and I am looking
for a new home for it." He wants to donate it to a museum ship or similar
preservation/display entity.

Please let me know any suggestions and I'll pass them along. He also says
there are lots of parts. Beyond that I know nothing.
I suppose an alternative would be someone in the area who is willing to be
a re-shipper/distributor to folks or museums in other parts of the country.
It sounds like he really wants this to go to a good cause.
