de WB2CPN in South Central Pennsylvania.

The coupler that came with the BC-610 in the mobile arrangement was big
and heavy.
Had two bands, High and Low, both HF, naturally.
The BC-610 is link coupled from the final stage to the Antenna Tuner.
Impedance is
approximately 50 to 100 Ohms. Antenna tuning was fixed vacuum
capacitors, and
rotary inductors. I have a lot of time on these radios. Going way back.

I have fed 600 Ohm open wire line and 300 Ohm Twin Lead by using two
high-voltge
mica capacitors tapped on to the final coil, but I DO NOT recommend
anyone to do that.
I was young and more stupid then, (1946 in USAF.)

Any good wide-range 50 or 70 OHM tuner should work IF you consider the
BC-610
output power. An old B&W, or a contemporary MFJ that can handle the power.

Stupider, but I have doubled in the final to get on 10 Meters. No
efficiency, and the
tube runs hot. Ah, youth......
