[Milsurplus] slo mo removal ?

[MWM via Milsurplus]

I have a slo mo, old type, small, lower knob controls the rotation, its slightly offset from centre, and pull out to release, enabling the small centre knob to turn shaft.


Its marked 'Pattern 1257'


2 screws hold body to front panel but cannot figure out how joined to cap shaft.


I think I have seen these types on early WW2 wavemeter.


Any idea's?
