[Milsurplus] Gluing felt

: What glue is best for attaching green felt to
: aluminum?  Looking at replacing some worn on
: felt on some RU receiver tube covers.

I go over aluminum with an orbital sander with about a 100 grit paper, then 
clean with solvent and use high strength/high heat spray on upholstery 
adhesive, then lay the item felt side down and put weight on it until the 
glue dries.  The two become one.
