Jeez, I guess you were right, the earlier one had 2600s, which were 14
cylinders, and the later R-2800 powered version were 18.

Sounds like the answer to me. Now I can just see myself trying to find
those LORAN C pips amongst all the "grass" created on the APN-4 scope by the
56 spark plugs on the PBM!!
