A Plea.....
So.see photo here of young me and one of the radios with that
mike
what is the make and model?
http://www.glendaledailyplanet.com/award/couryg10.gif I would like one of
these mikes ....

OK.. the plea... If anyone turns up one of the KWM2A's and 30L1 or
30S1 or any of the go withs with LUKE AFB property tags please let
me
know !! (forgoing that... if we can not find ones with the tags
we
will have to look for something that looked the same)

As aside from the personal memories I have of those rig we are trying
to put together displays of any of the earlier radios used at Luke AFB
here in Glendale ... Tactical, MARS, Air Traffic Control ( Collins
GRC-27) Etc...(forgoing that... if we can not find ones with the
tags we
will have to look for something that looked the same)

So after you find one of those fine sounding mikes for your rig... we
would like the next one in line to recreate ours. ... somehow as a
kid out of the USAF I sold mine as it left base when I did as it was
my
personal property.....
the story is....
.We had hand mikes on the KWM2A'a at Luke AFB and when on leave
picked this mike up in a Ham shop in Torrance CA ... I wanted a desk
mike and
wanted

Anyone wanting to talk old MARS STATION stuff drop me a line offlist!
