An hangar queen is an airplane that does not fly because it has been
cannibalized to make other planes fly.  Once in a while, someone, in the big
corner office, decides that the hanger queen will fly, and this means weeks
or months to get her back in flying order.  Once a plane sits for a while,
everything start breaking; o-rings start leaking, etc.

Hangar queen is the solution to lack of spare parts.....

Airplanes in a museum are like animals trapped in the zoo!  It is much
better to watch the lion in the savannah  than....

Actually not.  The thing is a hangar queen because it can't fly.  For
