Hi everyone first time post here and I'm not a radio expert so...
I'm looking for someone who is interested in taking on a paying job to acquire, restore as needed(NOS preferred) and make operational on the bench WWII aircraft radio sets for 2 aircraft I have under restoration. This could be either a job here at our shop in Cameron Park CA or at your facility. You would not be responsible to wire the radios in the aircraft however that would be a possibility.
The 2 Aircraft are a 1943 Douglas SBD-4 Dauntless and a 1943 Curtiss SB2C-1A Helldiver. My shop does award winning flying restorations and I would like to have authentic radios that will work for the judges. I do have a list of all the radio equipment called out for each aircraft but to give you a basic idea we are looking at...
Helldiver--ARC-4 RT-19, R-4/ARR-2, CRV46151 ARB receiver, CBY-46105 ARA receiver, ASB tx and rec(doesn't need to be operational but would be very cool!) and APX-2 RT-24 receiver.
Dauntless--GP-7 tx CAY-52173, RU-19 rec CW-46048D, ZB-3 Homing Radio, ABK-1 recognition radio and ASB tx and rec(doesn't need to be operational but would be very cool!).
Again the above is a partial list. Obviously there's a lot more items like controls, racks dynomotors etc etc.

If interested in knowing more about the planes and what we do see my website www.VulturesRowAviation.com
If interested in talking more about the job please email me at Chuck at VulturesRowAviation.com
Thanks
Chuck
