Joe -

Does the frequency scale in the Special still increase in frequency when the
dial is turned clockwise, or, does it decrease. It is also interesting to
note that the frequency range covered in the Special is twice as wide. 73 -

I have both, and the manual is just re-stamped 5 - 13 MC.with a block of
black ink overstamped over the orginal.  .  There are no other changes in 
the manuals.   I pulled both sets from the case, and no apparent changes to 
the sets electrically.
