I forgot to mention, it seems possible to make an equivalent using about
14 "C" cells, all in parallel, arranged in two hex assemblies of 7 each,
stacked one on top of the other. The problem is finding a plastic tube of
the correct size to be used as a housing.
I got interested because I'm thinking of running a BC-221 on batteries. I
have a good solution for the BA-2s.
