Speaking of tantalum..I am going through an exercise now due to the
"Dodd-Frank" bill/law.Buried in the law is something called Conflict
minerals
I'm not going to go through all the hoops here but the hoops are many for
any company that uses tantalum products in their manufacturing, caps
included !!!.
If a company uses tantalum caps they are subject to Dodd Frank ! According
to the Dodd/Frank law.if you use a tantalum cap as a manufacture/assembly
house you have to be able to trace the origin of the tantalum back to where
it was mined..any product that has tantalum in it.
What a crock.
Oh, gold is also a conflict material.as well as others
