[Milsurplus] APR-4 FURTHER

APR-1 heads work ok in a APR-4 or APR-4Y, too bad your overseas being I have a couple APR-4 heads and APR-4 and would sell them cheap. Don't think any modifications are stock to that set. Maybe someone tried to install FM demodulator? Think I have that same low band head in the picture and have used it in my 4Y with no issues.

APR-4 FURTHER

Hi all,

Many thanks to those who replied with info on the APR-4, in particular Ron , many thanks for circuits.
I have now received the APR-4 chassis, looks reasonable but I find its APR-1 tuning units I have in stores. I think I can still use them though?

Anyway, pic of set is at: here

Rx has a small added on chassis and valve holder, akin to the diode noise limiter seen in HRO sets, pic at: here

does anyone have info on this mod?

And, there's a missing component, cap maybe, was attached to corner i.f.t., pic at: here
