Maybe I can tie it together for you. My Historic Military Vehicle Club escorted (one group) of those Veterans to their plane and greeted them when they came home. We also use cash that we earn at certain events to pay for some of those flights. some of those Vets operated Military Radios And I think we might be able to call them all "surplus" :-)  The WWII jeep I'll be using next week during the special event to help earn some of that money will be carrying it's BC-659 and a BC611. Other jeeps will have GRC sets and RT-524s etc. The Veterans love 'em and so does the public.
