[Milsurplus] BC-312 tuning backlash

I've not looked at a BC-312 specifically, but most WWII tuning drives use
split, anti-backlash, gears.
If such gears are stuck together, perfaps with dried out grease, there
will certainly be backlash. The little preload springs cannot overcome the
grease.
