I have never heard of these individuals or situations, though Hanzing is
legendary in these parts. If you have a broken part that is impossible to
replace, you look high and low for someone to Hanz you up a replacement.
It is rumored that the famous character of he old TV series Happy Days, the
Fonz (Fanz before the writers changed it), was loosely based on the
original. Very loosely. Not much at all, really.
A better comparison would be the Quartermaster aka "Q" from the early Bond
movies. Talk about gadgets.......
