[Milsurplus] Saving stuff

Prior to my move to England I had about 120 mil radios. The container
wasn't big/strong enough to take everything so I had to seriously
downsize. With some of the items weighing several hundred pounds and not
having packing/crating facilities Ebay was out of the plan. I knew of
fellow hams and people in the mil vehicle club who would appreciate
these things. I approached them with an offer they couldn't refuse, in
some cases giving away. My concern was to find good homes and not fret
about the "money". To me it was a win-win situation.

I kept about 30 radios that I really liked including two I got from Tony
Grogan's estate. They were complete and in excellent condition. I hope
to pass them on the same way.
