[Milsurplus] H-250 U microphone capsul

Hi All,
 
I have a bad microphone in my H-250 U handset.  i have it apart and was wondering if anyone has replaced the mill capsul with a Radio Shack one?  I have a small one from an old RS kit.  I know that the H-250 dosen't have a good reputation for the microphone part, so figure someone must have come up with a fix.
