[Milsurplus] ant match for GF ?

Was there a question about connecting the GF to an actual ham antenna?
While I have not powered up a GF in, uh, well, 50 years (and just as well,
no one answered, because I'm sure it chirped like hell ), it occurs to me:
either just tap the coil way down, and run it thru an antenna tuner to knock
down the odd numbered harmonics; or add a couple turns of link coil near
the ground end of the coil, still running it thru an antenna tuner. Or am I
missing something?
With the pushpull PA circuit, it surprises me no one back in the 'Conversion
Era' used it for a very simple DSB transmitter. Maybe because it was less
common than the other 'Command Sets', and there was also more buzz about
the others.
