So far, I only used the ART-13's I have on the 75/80 M band and I use a
fixed 2000pf cap between the CAP terminal and ground, with control C on 7.
It gives me a good match across the band with 92-100 watt output into 50
ohms (using the DY-17/ART-13 dynamotor), with the plate current meter in the
correct range, with minimum tweaking of controls D and E. D is between 10
and 30, and E between 120 and 130. The ART-13 feeds a 256 foot long Carolina
Windom via an MFJ automatic antenna tuner.
These setting are very similar on both of my ART-13's currently operational;
one is a T-412/ART-13B and a T-47/ART-13.

Subject: [Milsurplus] T-47/ART-13 into 50 ohm load

How well does a T-47 (or equivalent) match a 50 ohm resistive load on say 3
to 10 MC? Is there any standard outboard "fix" like an UnUn or shunt
variable capacitor? Purpose would be to feed a remote antenna tuner.
