Yes, the ones we are providing have a continuous protruding engagement ridge
that is hardened and fills the slot on both sides of center where the pins
used to fit.  It is much stronger than the original one.

A friend is working on crafting a couple of these from one I had.
If any of our members haven't seen the ATC/ART-13 crank- it has two very
small pins that engage the shaft.  
They look like they would break-off at the slightest resistance.  
I'd bet coffee and donuts you don't see the cranks because these pins on the
originals broke in short order.
Has your friend found a way to build them with more strength?
