I can attest to that.  Tried it at 19KV, mic went up like a flashbulb. 
Didn't draw an arc into my nose with that one, but did with a TS-570D and 
20m dipole in a small room in an apartment.  Somewhere in the aether, about 
16 lightyears away, the words "KQ-CRAP" are hurling about...
