I didn't take it as criticism, John.  I was just explaining that I can't 
answer the question without idle speculation, and why.

As I mentioned, I have covers here for the LM, ARB, ATB, ATD, GO-9, 
DU-2, ZB-3, and maybe a few others, so the ARB is not the only one. I 
think the clue may be in one of the ARMN photos I saw this morning, 
which identifies a chronic leak point in the SBD that was causing 
corrosion of the connectors.  If you install a piece of equipment under 
a place that always gets wet, then a cover is probably a good idea. :-) 
I doubt that they put the covers on equipment that was normally dry when 
it rained or flew through a rainstorm.  At least that's my speculation 
for the morning.  Worth exactly what you paid for it...heh, heh...
