Glenn,

As the say on Antiques Road Show, "if I had it my shop" I would ask 
$300.00.  BC-314's and BC-344's were made in much smaller quantities than the 
similar BC-312's and BC'342's.  The only two models built were BC-344 and 
BC-344-D.

294 is the serial number
CFN is Farnsworth (the contractor)
3552-PHILA-44 is the Signal Corps Order Number (not contract - a Signal 
Corps contract was a totally different sort of agreement.  Only one to a 
contractor for as long as they were building or might build anything for the 
Signal Corps).
MFP NOV 44 is the moisture and fungus proofing finish date (or month and 
year).
