Was looking at a small, and rather cheaply made DDR book on their NVA's
radios. It's undated, but I'd guess early 1970s; it has all the standard
radios
you're used to seeing. But - it also has this UFT 431 talkie, which is a
one-
channel walkie talkie, 100 mW, 26.97 - 27.27 MHz. Isn't that kind of odd?
Wonder where they got the idea for that one!

Commendation: I have an NVA winter coat, splinter pattern camo, and an
NVA marked blanket. I bought both at Cabella in Omaha in 1995, and they
have served me flawlessly since.
