Good Morning,

I am working on a project to dedicate a portion of our building – Code
Talkers Hall on Marine Corps Base Quantico, Virginia to the original 29
Navajo Code Talkers of WWII. We are attempting to locate any of the type of
radios/field gear the Code Talkers might have used during their service so
we can put them in a static display as part of our dedication. In doing my
research, I found there are several radios that were used during the war to
include the SCR-300/BC-1000, the TBY series, and the TBX series.

I came across this mailing list while searching for these radios and from
looking at some of the other threads, you all seem to be in the know on
WWII radios. Can anyone point me in the right direction as to where to find
a radio that will fit our needs? They dont need to work because they will
be in a display, but we would like them to at least look the part.

Any information or guidance you can give would be much appreciated.
