Two things first make sure that the beacon switch is not on! That forces the radio into transmit but you will also hear the yelp being transmitted and second think that Murphy still has battery boxes listed on his web site. The battery connector is A +28 volts in and C ground. The case is also ground but beware, the +28 volt source goes directly to the PA cards and the radio itself so only use a good 28 volt source. The majority of the radio is feed from the DC to DC inverters under the chassis that develops +12 and +5 volts.

It seems my URC-101 is stuck on transmit. I cannot get it to go to rx. The o/p seems ok, the frequency selection is ok, I just can't rx. 


Would anyone have a circuit, idea, or a big hammer!!! hi.
