[Milsurplus] RAK-8

Hello all, picked up a honey of a RAK-8 at a hamfest yesterday. It is extremely clean. I can only think it was never placed into service.  Looks totally unmolested. I haven't fired her up yet (still have to get some tubes) but I was wondering if anyone had a manual for the RAK-8. I don't know how important it will be to get the exact -8 version but thought I'd give it a try. BAMA has the RAK-5 but again, don't know what - if any - changes were made between the -5 and the -8.

Also, for those of you guys running VLF/LF what is a reasonable antenna I could assemble (or purchase) for this? Some kind of loop? I would prefer not have a loop the size of my entire back yard, but something smaller if at all possible.
