[Milsurplus] Mystery equipment NAVSHIPS manual 0967-047-7010 ?

Howdy men - I have acquired an AN/WRA-3 which is an HF CW
transmitter/exciter. It is a strange beast - synthesized, 500 lbs, 15 w
output from a 4CX250B (1.5w max in exciter mode driving a URC-32 or WRT-2).
Manual has instructions for dismantling it to fit through a 25" hatch, etc.

It has an an extra RF input to a balanced mixer stage from some mysterious
"Auxiliary Equipment" and refers to NAVSHIPS 0967-047-7010 for info. Does
anyone have a clue what this manual is for or what this "Auxiliary
Equipment" might be.
