After reading John's reply as to purpose and function, I was
still curious about the screw adjustment.
Checked in Ludwell Sibley's Tube Lore and found:
6322 [AKA BL-25]; TR tube, 1285 MHz tunable, 450 kW (BL)
(6-17-57).
