I spent most of the day creating, PCB artwork, Finding a program for
free to convert KDF format to PDF, then taking the new PDF, KDF
expunged, file and using Gimp to flip the image. The ran to the store,
purchased on sale Kodak Glossy photo paper. Printed the image let it
dry. Whipped out the iron, turned it up to the highest setting in hopes
of transferring the ink from the glossy photo paper on to a tinned
copper waffle board- with no success ( -! whaaaaah. I did a little
research on the web about this process, but not enough understanding to
the ironed on pattern stick. Yes granted I used an Ink jet, So it may
be off to FEDX-Kinkos to use their a laser jet on my glossy paper.
Question. heat mailable inkjet ink ? Yes mailable is most likely not
the proper term, I got it....
Is there, some Ink-Jet ink that will re-flow when heat is applied; like,
similar to, Laser printer toner? Thought I would ask.
Thanks - A shot in the dark
Hutch
