Ray,

The only significant difference between R-375/APR-4X and R-444/APR-4Y is 
that input power for the latter is 115 VAC 380-1000 CPS.  Sensitivity of the 
CV-253/ALR-5 is a little better on the upper two bands than that of the 
single band converters that it replaces.  But not much, because for its purpose 
it neither needed nor wanted to be.  It only had to be better at detecting 
the incident signal from a radar transmitter than the transmitter's associated 
receiver was at detecting the reflected signal.
