[Milsurplus] APR-4 and RDO

I have seen a couple RDO receivers over the years at ham fest and you are lucky to be able to give them away. They are often priced between $50 to $100 but never saw one sell. Have seen APR-1 and APR-4 receivers with one or two plug in sections sell in the $100.00 range sometimes a little more with plug ins by themselves selling for less with the exception of the multiband plug in that sells for more. The APR-4Y tends to sell for more; I ran one up to $200.00 or so on EBay couple months back but did not get it. The Y has newer style front panel and a FM mode but do not know if it has an improved tube line up or is still using octal. I always wanted an APR-4Y, did have an APR-4 but was not impressed being that it was insensitive and way broad but always wanted to try the 4Y. If anyone has an APR-4Y with or without the spectrum display would be willing to trade something for it.

Does anybody have a handy-dandy table of APR-$ and RDO versions and TN-xx plug-ins and which is compatible with what and their features/differences?

Also, are there any other versions of the APR-4, other than the -4Y?
Finally, roughly when did the -4Y enter service?

Thanks,

-John
