Unlikely.  The picture is said to be dated 1971. 

It is definitely not a BC-1000-*.  There are no SCR-300-* antennas (AN-130-A,
AN-131-A) that have a loading coil in the middle, plus the BC-1000-* with its
large CS-128-A battery box looks quite different and is larger.  The backpack
harness shown is not of the ST-54/55-A type either. 

This is something more modern...but not a AN/PRC-25 or -77...something
UK-made, possibly.

BTW, the SCR-300-* was a remarkable radio for its time (development complete in
1942 by Galvin).  I consider it one of the most important radio sets of WWII.
I've always wondered why it has squelch, when larger vehicular sets of the era
like the SCR-509, -510, -609, -610, and -619 do not.

Does anyone know the difference between the BC-1000-A and the BC-1000-B?
