My cable has a bakelite plug vs. the "shelled" in the P.I.
photo, but the "straight-out" plug vs. the angled plugs
of later sets pegs it, IMHO, as SCR-288 because
we know for sure that SCR-288 was "in theater"
and SCR-131 is unlikely.

Forgive the background of  a tumble-down barn 
which serves me for a "shack" and "work shop." ;-)
