There is one possible explanation for the high level of classification of
the early TN 11-626 for the AN/TRC-10.  On page 128 to 130 there are 47
*specific* transmitter crystals and their associated operating frequencies
(from 2030 to 11260 kHz) listed.  That's unusual signals intelligence
information that would seem to be unwise to include in the radio set
manual.
