This is a medium sized hamfest in a state with a lower population density
than
on the east coast. Not a small local hamfest, and not one of true biggies.
( I
should really try to get attendance figures...)

Here are some of the things I saw:
75A4 Collins, beautiful, $675 not sold
R- 390 EAC, okay to good, $500, ns
ART- 13 okay to good, $125 ns
SX-71 a few, around $100
SX-101 a couple, think a dog sold for about $60

FTDX-400 several, prices $125 stock down to $25 as-is but looking good.
Good looking radio but - tho tempted - I did not want to start on another
search for tubes and so on....

One seller who had the FTDX-400 for $25 had 3 other transceivers for $25.
One I saw was an Eldico SSB transceiver, which I wasn't aware existed.
A couple others, one was a TS-511, which I bought, thinking it was a hybrid,
so I'd at least not have to retube the receiver section. Alas, in the hurry,
I
failed to notice it requires an external PS, which was not there, and the
radio was extremely dirty inside. Oh well, $25 is not much of a mistake
in 2013 dollars.

Swan MX-100 + PS, $295 ns
SX-117 nice, $225 ns
MN-26 RDF no accessories, okay - usual condx, $5
RA-10 RDF, " ", $5, I bought this and discovered on popping the lid later,
1/3 of innards had been removed. So expect from me a conversion article
on "How to Convert an RA-10 into a Tool Box".
BC-221, rough outside, perfect front panel, book, $5, I felt it was being
dishonored here so I bought it.
LM, 2, rough looking, no book, free
BC-348 cabinet, no receiver, holes drilled in back and side nibbled, free
TCS receiver, no front panel?? partser? price ?
MAB Field Strength Meter - Robin, a non-ham soup-to-nuts militaria
and mil vehicle collector, told me he found this at the pre-game
Japanese WW2 field phone, wood case missing lid, otherwise okay $125 ns
Regen receiver, 3 tube, homebuilt, no details, nice except for ugly knobs,
$25 I bought
HW-100 ??
Heath SB-300, maybe other components, $unknown
HQ-150 good $100 NS
Some linears, as usual
BC-348, good unhacked, sold $ unk in pre-game
GRC-9 good, sold $ unk in pre-game
NO boat radios, not a one, not even a hacked chassis!
Ameco AC-1 w 2 coils, complete $10 sold, but before you get excited, I
bought
this BUT about 30% of all surface is rust. How to re-do it and retain or
replicate
the Ameco markings on front?
Command sets, 2 2-3 transmitters $10 each, ns?
Command receivers, one BC-453 complete, priced standard, couple
parts receivers $5 each
SX-88 good, $3500 ns
Did not see any Tek scopes or H-P later model test equip.
Much other "stuff" as you would expect, too much to call out.
I did not buy a single tube this day, nor even look at tubes, too busy
with table or my own looking around. Next time!

I had a eclectic stack of magazines, free, which seems it must have earned
me a lot of
good karma, as several takers expressed their appreciation. Great - we like
to have our
junque go to an appreciative home, in this hamfest game. More magazines
coming!
