This film is believed to have never been seen before, only shots of the


surrender were known.

We always saw the "stills" but never the film itself

Not quite right. I have seen this film many times. The 2nd Japanese with top hat seen boarding the Missouri was used in the tv series 'World at War' and spoke about the incident.
