[Milsurplus] [MRCA] Schmeg - the word.....

Not the same word. The one you are referring to, is a medical term, and has:

No 'ch'
A 'ma' on the end.

I suspect Schmeg is a corruption of some Yiddish word, perhaps for (junk)
jewelery.
